Job Summary:
This position’s primary responsibilities are new report development, report updates, application updates, and new application development. Other duties include system maintenance, administrative, contractual compliance, data clean-up, helpdesk support and working with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division on DACODS issues. (Note: DACODS is reporting data required by the State of Colorado).
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Report Development and Updates.
2. Application Development and Updates.
3. System Maintenance - required to keep the hardware, software, and data systems running on a daily basis. These are the primary systems in the IT department. (Servers, networking equipment, web server software, database software, acquisition, planning etc.)
4. Administrative - Tasks and meetings required to keep the department functional.
5. Contractural Compliance - keep the organization within our contractual obligations. (Monitoring DACODS and Target Pop usage.)
6. Data Cleansing - keep the data in the system clean and validating properly. (Fixing upload provider mistakes, fixing validation mistakes etc.)
7. Work with ADAD and DACODS - Tasks, meetings, phone calls, and emails required to get ADAD initiatives, and updates completed. This includes DACODS.
8. Work with providers/counties - Meetings, phone calls, emails, and training sessions required to support the providers and counties. This includes help desk issues, data issues, application issues, upload issues and process issues.Minimum Qualifications and Attributes:
1. Bachelor’s degree required, with 1-2 years development-related job experience.
2. Motivated self-starter with positive attitude.
3. Working knowledge of basic help desk and systems administration tasks – MS Office administration, MS Server administration, AD/GPO, RDP, Exchange.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), Classic ASP 3.0 and/or ASP.NET 2.0, Windows Forms .NET 2.0, JavaScripting, AJAX, RSS, and SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
5. Ability to efficiently handle mutliple simultaneous high priority tasks, constant priority changes, and quick deadlines.
6. Professional work attire, attitude, and presentation.
7. Able to effectively work with moderate supervision.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Works well with a variety of personalities.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
