Jr. RPG Programmer/AS400 iSeries Operator

Our Corporate office is currently searching for a Junior RPG Programmer / AS400 Operator to support the users of our Island Pacific Software System.



Responsibilities include:

·  Process a daily AS/400 Operations schedule

·  Manage AS/400 backups, user profiles, system messages, job queues, and printers

·  Manage scheduled processes using ROBOT

·  Provide help desk support, including participation in an evenings/weekends on-call rotation

·Create reports and downloads using SQL/400 to assist users with various analytical needs

·Design & develop new programs and existing programs using CL/400, RPGIV, RPG ILE, and SQL/400



Qualifications include:

·  Minimum 5 years experience with iSeries/AS400 operations

·  Knowledge of AS/400 and RPG programming, including CL/400, RPGIV, RPG ILE, and SQL/400

·  Experience with DBU, ROBOT, and Hawkeye

·  Experience with Island Pacific Software Systems (also formerly known as SVI systems)

·  Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills

·  Experience with Crystal Reports, RF Equipment, and EDI is a plus!
