They are seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join their IT Team as a Junior Systems Administrator. This is a long term contract engagement with the potential to grow as you learn in the role with a possibility to go Perm. Industry: Finance/Insurance Location: Norwood, MA Start: ASAP Duration: 3-6 months (contract to potential PERM) Rate: $18-20/hrAttributes ** Analytical thinking, on process and documentation. Being able to research and grasp theory and able to document thoroughly any processes. ** Have hands on knowledge and ability with server systems. Including deployment, troubleshooting and builds. ** Customer service skills, considering you will be working with daily ticket problems that may include outside companies and customers. ** Good understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Windows XP, Server 2000, Server 2003 ** Understand and have experience with Virtual Machines (VM Ware)is a Plus ** Organization and ability to handle short and long term projects with multiple tasks, department and contacts. ** Basic understanding of how Databases work.   Daily tasks/responsibilities include ** Managing trouble tickets ** Building servers and trouble shooting failed ones. ** Install and cable servers into datacenter  ** Organizing and cleaning up several server databases ** Managing remote system monitoring and handling problems ** Assisting in Microsoft Patch Processing (monthly task) ** Being flexible with new smaller projects on a daily basis If you have the above attributes and experience, please do respond to this posting with an updated version of your resume and someone will reach out to you soon to take things further About Hudson IT & Telecommunications Hudson IT&T serves as a trusted resource for clients seeking high-quality technology professionals and IT solutions.
