Duties will include enhancing practitioner effectiveness through improved awareness and utilization of relevant knowledge assets, tools and resources in support of client service activities; initiating and managing the acquisition of priority content and adding value to that content; working to become a trusted advisor and partner to practice area leaders and practitioners on all knowledge-related requirements; and facilitating and promoting the sharing of knowledge and content across the organization by acting as an ambassador of Knowledge Management across the Deloitte organization Other duties include: - Develop, manage, and execute against specific KM-related projects for the global consulting service area - Manage the currency, relevancy and strength of the practice area content, as well as ensuring value-add within the Knowledge Exchange - Develop and maintains websites on the Knowledge Exchange for the service lines - Develop and maintains packaged content in response to the practice area priorities - Meet regularly with leaders to: Establish and revise priorities, in accordance with their practice development plans and prioritiesKeep practice area leaders aware of significant KM developments - Champion the Knowledge Exchange, processes and programs for Consulting teams - Demonstrate how the Knowledge Exchange content is recent and relevant to client issues - Works closely with remote resources, based in Hyderabad, India, on issues of content management - Works with Business Support Exchange and Business Research Center team members on issues and projects of interest to the practice area leadership team - Provides practitioner request support through RFI escalations and SME identification - Excellent oral and written communications skills - Ability to work credibly and effectively with people at all levels and in various countries - Willingness to engage and mentor practitioners across levels, organizations and geographies (particularly team members in India) - Ability to develop and deploy creative and practical ideas - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Capacity to travel as needed.  Approximately 25% travel. - Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance - Proven record with supervising a small team - Predisposition to quickly understand technology - Global experience working with multiple countries - Bachelors Degree - Five or more years experience in project management and communications-intensive roles - Flexibility to readily accept and assist in change - Demonstrated innovative approaches to developing solutions PREFERRED: - Master's degree in a related field (Business, Management Information Systems, Library Sciences, or Communications) - Experience with virtual teams - Experience with knowledge management and content management tools and processes - Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint - Three or more years experience within a professional services / management consulting firm About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
