Lawson Technician

ITI is searching for a Technical Analyst to support the Lawson Software enterprise resource-planning (ERP) package for our client in Chapel Hill, NC.  This position is part of the technical team and will be accountable in a team effort for supporting, maintaining and upgrading the Lawson Software modules on a periodic basis as prescribed by management.

EXPERIENCE Required:
MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE SKILLS and a minimum of two years hands-on Lawson experience including Financials, HR, Payroll and Fixed Assets.  Project management - must have the skills to develop project estimates, track status, and report to management effectively on project milestones and percent completion.   Special Projects - relational database applications using Structured Query Language (SQL) and data base utilities such as TOAD, Excel Add-ins with Oracle database, basic skills with the UNIX operating system running on AIX hardware, and successful participation on a special project team. Must also have experience developing custom business applications and data mining queries to serve our internal and external customers.


Excellent communication skills -ability to communicate in verbal and written forms at all levels. Ability to produce clear, comprehensive documentation of procedures for customers and partners. 

 

Results orientation - must demonstrate problem solving, root cause analysis and clear systems thinking abilities. Be able to work as a self-starter with minimal direction. Must be able to interact effectively with team members and customers.
