Lead Engineer Ops/ Company Operations system integration test development and implementation

DESCRIPTION:


Responsible for Company Operations system integration test development and implementation within Company as well as at our contract manufacture sites. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

· Advanced Engineering Degree.

· 5 – 7 years of design and/or production environment experience in telecommunication field.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Develop system test plan and detailed system test procedure based on the system performance requirement and specification from design engineering

· Develop system test automations and integrate with Company Manufacturing Control System (MCS)

· Participate in engineering design review for new product releases 

· Perform system level validation on new hardware and software releases

· Provide feedback to design engineering for issues found during production system test

· Support system test outsourcing activities

· Provide test process/applications training to production team including CMs

· Perform failure analysis on RMAs

· Participate in cross functional team meeting for quality and production related issues

 

SKILLS:

 

· Good understanding of optical fiber communication system

· Knowledge in fiber-optical telecommunication test equipment (including oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, Ethernet and SONET tester, etc.).

· Knowledge in test equipment controls and automation (through RS232, GBIP, LAN, etc.)

· NI LabView and TestStand based test automation programming skills

· Ability to resolve complex issues and adequately document test progress and results.

· Familiar with MS Office applications

· Technical writing skills
