Lead Enterprise Integration Systems Engineer (CRM, ERP, UNIX)

Title: Lead Enterprise Application Integration EngineerLocation: Pleasanton, CASkills: Change and configuration management experience, UNIX systems administration knowledge, Wintel server knowledge, DBMS / RDBMS and deployment of enterprise packaged application. Experience with high availability application support, COTS deployment experience (CRM, ERP systems). Preferred experience or knowledge of Epic, Mumps or Cache.The Application & Platform Integration (API) Application Integration Engineer will be responsible for devising and deploying end-to-end technical solutions for a large information management system that automates the medical record. The API Application Integration Engineers primary job responsibilities are as follows: - Receive and analyze technical and business requirements and develop detailed implementation plans- Present technical specifications in a design review session, if appropriate, and obtain buy-in of peers and superiors for the implementation- Implement solutions in various regional environments across KP- Develop solutions to automate system and application monitoring - Lead projects, monitor and mentor assigned tasks - Provide architectural recommendations for specific components of major infrastructure initiatives- Develop end-to-end technical solutions to provide new features or resolve application or data-related issues - Investigate production and non-production issues reported by engineering staff- Vendor and cross team coordination for code implementation needs- Initiate application deployment and enhancement projects with KP staff- Create and maintain design, build, implementation and network management documentation- Participate in peer reviews for recommended break/fix solutions and/or new and enhanced technologies- Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem resolution- Provide recommendation for storage and back-up strategies based on design requirementsThe individual is required to maintain product level knowledge of KP component and new technologies. The individual will report to the API Integration Build & Integration Lead who has overall responsibility for the engineering and implementation planning for all new technologies within KP HealthConnect environments across all regions, including third level production support. The individual much be self-motivated and must enjoy challenges in a dynamic work environment. Strong problem solving and communication skills are a must. The individual must have extensive experience developing technical solutions in demanding production scenarios. Minimum Qualifications:1.) Bachelors degree in CS / EE / MIS Engineering or equivalent work experience.2.) At least 5 years experience in IT or with deployment of a packaged application3.) Configuration management experience4.) Change management experience3.) Strong problem solving skills4.) Wintel and UNIX server knowledgePreferred Qualifications:1.) Epic product knowledge2.) Citrix product experience3.) 2-3 years of UNIX shell programming experience4.) Cache / Mumps knowledge5.) Masters degree in CS / EE or related discipline 6.) Cache / RDBMS / Epic Suites Technical certifications7.) Experience with supporting a high availability application8.) Open to flexible working hours9.) Application development or functional knowledge (such as CRM, ERP systems)10.)
