Lead Programmer Analyst, SCAL BIO RAD

Position: Lead Programmer AnalystGroup: Office of the Southern California Business Information Officer, Regional Application Delivery (SCAL BIO, RAD)Location: Pasadena, CAWe currently have an opening for a Lead Programmer Analyst within our Regional Application Delivery (RAD) team as part of the Southern California Business Information Office (SCAL BIO). This Lead P/A will be responsible for the following:1) Responsible for maintenance and development of 6 - 10 IT clinical applications 2) Coordinate onshore and offshore Kaiser and Contractor staff to support applications3) Work with Business Segment Partners and IT management to coordinate work efforts4) Provide 24 X 7 support for given applications and applications staff when required5) Work with Business Partners to maintain and enhance our efforts to provide the very best IT experience possible.6) Work to adapt applications and staff to meet ongoing Federal, State and Kaiser Compliance regulations and initiatives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:1) 6 or more years of Healthcare related IT experience2) 2 or more years experience managing staff (either in projects or as direct reports)3) Demonstrated ability to project and meet deadlines4) Proven ability to communicate well, both orally and in written form with senior management, business partners and staff5) Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service6) Ability to effectively multi-taskPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:1) Experience in a Kaiser Healthcare IT clinical systems environment2) Knowledge of mandatory Compliance-related requirements (SOX, HIPAA, etc.)3) Prior experience with highly regulated change management systems4) Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed environment5) Experience with IBM mainframe and Client/Server applications and environmentsThe Office of the Southern California Business Information Officer (SCAL BIO) is Kaiser Permanentes regional front door to all delivered IT products and services. While different groups within KP-IT become involved with project solutions and delivery, the SCAL BIO assumes overall accountability to ensure the delivery of IT solutions and services for the region. This includes overseeing medical center IT operations, IT strategic planning alignment with regional business goals, facilitating systems transition, maintaining business relationships and making investment decisions. The Service and Delivery arm of the SCAL BIO focuses on Medical Center relationship management, coordinated project delivery, and oversight of day-to-day operations at the Medical Center.
