Lead Software Configuration Manager – Largo, MD SSE – 4  Job Code: GCSD02081011   Harris Corporation is serving as the systems integrator and provides overall program management for the U.S. Census Bureau's 5-year $600 million dollar Field Data Collection Automation (FDCA) program. This critical program for the 2010 Census includes the design, development, testing and deployment of advanced, automated systems that will deliver near real-time data using an architecture with multiple and overlapping security features, including fingerprint authentication, password authentication, role-based access, automatic data encryption, firewalls, and virus protection    Job Description: Lead the Configuration Management Team for a large multi-site program Provide guidance and leadership in all aspects of configuration management including COTS HW / SW, Custom SW development, Subcontractor CM Develops CM plans, manages CCB and ECP activities, and ensures open items are implemented, tracked and resolved Coordinates with teammates and subcontractors to ensure CM assets are inventoried and tracked and that requirements are met   Manages the CM budget and is responsible for staffing program needs Manage implementation of Clear Case / Clear Quest multi-site implementation     Qualifications:  BS in CS or CIS or equivalent, with at least 10 years experience that includes the management of SW CM teams    Experience: Ability to lead teams, including subcontractors, and coordinate CM changes and requirements on a large software development program Proven experience in managing Configuration Management through multiple development and production cycles.
