Legal Sales Support Representative
Compliance Product Specialist/Legal Sales Support Job Purpose: The Compliance Product Specialist (CPS) is responsible for assisting the sales organization to sell Compliance training. This person will track our monthly progress through various reports to insure the sales organization achieves their goals. There is also an annual quota to achieve our product line sales goals. The Compliance Product Specialist will identify the best in class practices and sales tools necessary to achieve our product line's annual goals. This person will be able to track, anticipate and deliver whatever is necessary to make sure this product is sold effectively through the sales organization. This person will have a constant interaction with our sales people, our clients, our development team, and our strategic partners.This person will work directly with the sales team to close deals. The person will perform ongoing research for the compliance market, its trends and best practices, case law, regulatory law, and will also need to stay abreast of our competitors and their product offerings. Job Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites / sales meetings for the purpose of closing new business.Researching, monitoring, planning and developing tools and tactics both pricing and support related to insure the sales organization’s success. Provide feedback from sales reps and customers to Product Line Manager.Respond to sales reps requests for information, participate in demos and conference calls to sell products. Training/certifying the sales organization on product pitch and positioning. Internal training and meetings. Working with Compliance Line Partners. Working with other product line specialists at Element K for best practices and process improvement. Compliance and Legal Training for Product Support. Key Challenges of the Job: Keeping abreast of new trends and best practices in the compliance field.Consistent growth based on product analysis and research aided sales techniques.Monthly analysis of current successes and failures with regard to product line sales.Full understanding of the competition and how our products compare.Development of appropriate sales tools and promotions to drive activity.Work with product development in communicating field / customer needs and push our first-to-market product strategy.Work with Marketing Manager to launch new products and services.Travel to field locations as necessary to support the sales team.Evaluate and develop new channels of distribution and also new potential partners.Strive to achieve complete customer satisfaction. Knowledge and Skills: Legal Industry SalesCreative thinker.Excellent presentation skills.Strong customer relationship skills.Goal and results driven.Independent worker and self-starter.Always follows through and completes tasks on time.This person must have no discomfort with potentially speaking to General Counsel, Risk Managers, Compliance Officers and Executives of corporations. Education and Experience:Bachelors Degree. Minimum three years prior experience in one of the following fields: Legal, Compliance, Auditing, Solutions Architect, Entrepreneur in legal-related field. Minimum one year in either a sales or sales support role. Or equal combination of education and experience.
