TimeSys is the leading developer service provider for the embedded Linux market, delivering LinuxLink subscriptions that empower “roll-your-own� developers to rapidly and efficiently create their own commercial-grade custom Linux platforms. The continuously updated components, information and systems offered through LinuxLink subscriptions are aggregated from the open source community, semiconductor manufacturers, and TimeSys, and are hosted in the TimeSys Network.

As a Linux Software Engineer for TimeSys, your primary goal will be to build embedded processor architectures using open-source components and customize them to fit our clients’ existing software. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting customers and developing Linux based automation software. Experience working with Linux, familiarity with open source products and understanding of cross compiling and building methods will enable you to hit the ground running. Your knowledge of GCC, Linux tool-chains, RPM packaging and Kernel building will surely impress our Director of Services. Outstanding communication skills and an ability to understand our clients’ needs will be essential as you interface effectively with both customers and members of our internal development team. Just as important, your desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic company will be key to your success.
