Litigation Support Specialists and Project Managers

Top international firms located in New York & New Jersey are currently looking for Experienced Litigation Support Project Managers and Experienced Litigation Support Specialists for immediate hire.

Large New York City and New Jersey law firms are seeking experienced Litigation Support Specialists and Project Managers to work with attorneys, paralegals and vendors to design, implement and manage document databases.  Candidate must be able to communicate the litigation process to non-technical users and make recommendations for automated solutions using various litigation support applications.  He/she should have experience as a project leader.  They must be comfortable as an advisor to attorneys, paralegals and other support staff with differing levels of technical knowledge and be able to assist them accordingly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Creating new databases and load data as needed Communicate with legal team and Litigation Support team to define requirements, organization, and management of projects involving case-related documents and data Work with case team to analyze and assess case needs and suggest automated solutions Coordinate and implement solutions, providing technical support at the beginning of the case and be able to transition to support team Prepare project plans and budget for electronic processing Define business and technical requirements and then develop and/or coordinate the development of specialized databases or programs Provide database training (Concordance and/or Summation)


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Bachelor Degree. At least 5 years of experience in litigation support preferably with at least 2 years in a law firm environment preferred. Very experienced using Concordance, Summation, JFS Litigators Notebook, IPRO, LiveNote, Sanction, CaseMap and MS Access.  TimeMap is a plus. Knowledge of Electronic Discovery and amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure pertaining to E-discovery. Ability to handle tight deadlines and high stress situations. Ability to Manage projects sent to vendors Provide initial and ongoing support and training
