Efforts include: Work with senior leadership to define Independent Verification (IV) and IV&V. including policies, processes and facilities functionality. Lead teams in support of the readiness process to ensure that interface requirements are satisfied on defined schedules.Participate in document reviews and design reviews. Works with the requirements and architecture teams to develop verifiable program and interface requirements, and to ensure that traceability is maintained. Review technical and managerial documentation for adherence to the defined processes at program milestone reviews. Facilitate execution of various working groups involved in the requirements development and coordination process. The IV&V team also develops and operates the Test & Evaluation and IV&V Programs used to verify and validate the defined requirements using test, analysis, demonstration, and inspection methodsEssential Job Functions Architects highly complex, global solutions across the appropriate engineering environments to meet business requirements or enhance performance. Reviews cost analyses and vendor comparison reports to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. Recommends vendor/approach and presents to senior management. Reviews and recommends highly complex systems investment(s) to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and systems management/life cycle issues. Provides escalated, highly complex technical support to customers by investigating and resolving systems-related matters of significance; provides support telephonically and/or electronically. Plans, conducts and oversees the technical aspects of large, complex projects; coordinates the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects. Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and provides management overview. Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex system requirements and problems. Develops training tools and documentation; oversees implementation of same. Reviews literature, patents and current practices to support business requirements and/or new industry technology. Prepares reports and/or recommendations regarding new technology to appropriate personnel. Provides complex technical consultation on current and proposed systems to other organizations and clients. Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline or at least a minimum of9 years relevant experience with IV&V and requirements management. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Government (preferably Dod or IC) environment performing systems engineering. FBI background knowledge of Independent Verification (IV), IV&V and requirements in systems engineering is a plus.At a minimum, must have current TOP SECRET clearance. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelors degree in engineering, systems engineering, physics, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred Nine or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, operating systems programming or naval architecture Experience working with specific software and/or hardware systems with a specific concentration in one or more areas Experience working with one or more structured programming languages Experience working with design principles and applications Experience working with design principles and applications related to integrated plant, aircraft, ship and/or weapons systems (Naval Architecture only) Other Qualifications Strong leadership skills to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of complex systems Strong communication skills to communicate systems proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, subordinates and team members Strong organization skills to prioritize work, balance and lead complex projects Ability to work independently and as part of a global team Ability to integrate highly complex hardware and software systems Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Top Secret Create Success
