This company was founded in 1998.  Their US headquarters is in Burlingame, CA and a branch office in Princeton, NJ. They have established an offshore development facility in Chennai, India thereby enlarging the scope of services to outsourced offshore solutions.

The Opportunity:
Provide leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals. You should be comfortable selling strategic consulting services, software or other high-value services into Fortune 1000 organizations. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.

Requirements:
Degree required


3-5+ years management experience selling strategic solutions

Experience in strategic planning and execution.

Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.

Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.

Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings

Preferred Industry Experience: Software, Training Solutions, Consulting Services, Some outsourced services
Experience closing and finding 200K-500K+ deals
Longer sales cycle experience
Ability to work with consultants
Track record of success with building a book of business
Some travel required
