MES Application Specialist

Responsibilities

The MES Application Specialist is a key member of Atos Origin's MES service offering. He or she will work in a technical capacity within implementation projects based on standard commercial packages and, if applicable, be responsible for maintenance, 2nd-line support, upgrades and user support.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will offer the following background: Strong knowledge with at least one of the following commercial industrial software suites: Flexnet (Apriso) FS ArchestrA (Wonderware), Simatic IT (Siemens), Aspen One (Aspen Tech), RTpM (OSI) or Uniformance (Honeywell), SampleManager, Nautilus or LabManager (Thermo Electron) or LabWare. Experience in one or more OS (W-200*/NT/95/98, UNIX, VMS) and DB (Oracle, SQL-Server). Understanding of methods like RUP, DSDM and ITIL Development experience with C++, MS-VB, .Net, Java, SQL, Access, Excel, etc. depending on the nature of the engagement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability and willingness to travel as necessary - 20-50%.
