MES Development Team Project Leader

Responsibilities

The MES Technical Project Leader is a key member of Atos Origin's MES service offering. He or she will manage MES development projects and act as the technical lead on these engagements. Responsibilities will include: Estimating costs, timescales and resource planning. Providing project tracking and change management processes. Oversight of technical deliverables. Providing effective leadership to the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Actively representing the project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business.

Requirements

The ideal Candidate will demonstrate the following background: 5+ years experience managing application development projects. Deep knowledge and experience leading MES development projects. Technical experience that includes at least one of the following commercial industrial software suites: Flexnet (Apriso) FS ArchestrA (Wonderware), Simatic IT (Siemens), Aspen One (Aspen Tech), RTpM (OSI) or Uniformance (Honeywell), SampleManager, Nautilus or LabManager (Thermo Electron) or LabWare. Experience with estimating costs, timescales and resource requirements. Expertise with MS Project and skilled with project planning and tracking. Proven history driving projects to completion within budget and on time. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as a keen attention to details. Willingness and ability to travel - up to 80%. PMP certification is strongly desired. Experience leading on-shore and off-shore teams is a plus.
