Avanade Technology Solutions is currently seeking MOSS Developers, MOSS Administrator, MOSS Team Lead to join our Central Region Team based out of Milwaukee. These are full-time opportunties with room for growth and advancement.



 

Job Responsibilities

MOSS Developer (2)

Responsible for Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) analysis, design, build and testing activities.  This role will be part of an Application Development Outsourcing program with opportunity to work on multiple projects with individual growth opportunities. Prior exposure to Agile Scrum Iterative Methodology is a plus.

 

 MOSS Administrator

 § Manage site collection configuration
§ Enforce site level standards and policies (layouts, security processes, space usage etc.)
§ Site provisioning
§ Educate new site administrators
§ Meet with business on “how-to” accomplish tasks
§ Provides functional and consulting support for existing sites
§ Oversee platform infrastructure (hardware, OS, etc.) including:
o Security/permissions
o Backups/restores
§ Provide functional (how to) support to site collection and site administrators
§ Implement and maintain system architecture (shared service providers, policies, procedures,etc)
§ Maintain and enforce policies and guidelines
§ Coordinate MOSS upgrades and patches
§ Manage global style changes
§ Manage environment changes
§ Communicate changes
§ Manage file size limits and quotas
§ Configuration of platform
§ Supports broadly used (platform level) webparts

 MOSS Team Lead

Team Lead responsibilities for Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) analysis, design, build and testing activities.  This role will be part of an Application Development Outsourcing program with opportunity to work on multiple projects with individual growth opportunities.
