Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Business Architect for the OCIO – Strategic/Planning/Oversight department.

 The position is responsible for architecting systems consistent with the IT strategy, enterprise standards and the existing infrastructure. Facilitating the development of the IT strategy supporting the infrastructure team. Analyzing the current architecture to identify weaknesses and highlighting opportunities for improvements. Collaborating with TCC staff to increase effectiveness of systems and reducing support costs. Assessing capacity and resource utilization of network and/or server operations. Mentoring and coaching operations IT personnel. Designing architectural requirements. Providing architectural oversight to the system development effort. Ensuring all capabilities delivered align with the original project objectives, and the IT strategy. Partnering with customers to assess feasibility of new capabilities being proposed. Providing vendor evaluations to TCC management and technical staff. Ensuring standards and guiding principles are considered for new systems and upgrades. Promoting teamwork and inclusion to ensure all views are heard and requirements are accounted for. Building partnerships and networks within the organization to gain buy in and leverage expertise. Participating in the review and validation of project plans. Facilitating and managing collaborative sessions between the TCC staff and AS staff to resolve support issues. Chairs governance committees over-seeing enterprise services to ensure solutions are developed and issues are quickly resolved. Ensures education opportunities are provided to TCC teams. Responsible for the delivery of the IT strategic plan. Participates in all IT Strategic Planning functions as required.

RequirementsBA/BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. Must have 10+ years of infrastructure support activities. Must have 10+ years as a Technical Lead for large enterprise. Strong experience in working across multiple technology platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution, and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment. Must be flexible to changing business models and organization structures. Proven project leadership skills with the ability to multi-task. Professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff. Technical visionary, with the ability to shape solutions that provide value to the organization. Must have hands on working knowledge of UNIX/AIX, Microsoft NT/2000, AS/400, IBM mainframe. Must possess an understanding of multiple operating systems, directory structures and databases, how they relate to each other. Must possess strong consulting and communications skills. Must be able to weigh business needs with security requirements. Excellent interpersonal communication, project management and leadership skills. Must be a team player. Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and all levels of personnel (in person, on the telephone and through written communication).
