Manager, Online Services

 

This individual will work in IPRO’s Online Services Group; an open source technology team geared towards the public reporting of healthcare costs and reporting.  In this role, the Manager will assist the Sr. Director of Online Services by performing hands-on project management and supervisory activities.  He/she will assist in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the IPRO, HAF and client Web sites, with day-to-day responsibility for managing the testing, maintenance, administration and development of enhancements to all sites.

If you have…. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

§ Strong supervisory and management skills.

 

§ Strong project management skills with the ability to produce immediate solutions while considering long-term goals.  A developed understanding of content/knowledge management, information architecture, and data validation and security.

 

§ Proficiency in utilizing Internet standards including LAMP technologies, (X) HTML, CSS, SQL, templates, complex tables, frames and image maps, Section 508 and W3C standards.

 

A strategic understanding of the Internet marketplace and state of the art technology with the ability to apply to requirements gathering, customer service and business case analysis.

 

§ Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to successfully interact with design and content generating teams, internal/external customers and vendors, and senior management.

 

§ The ability to create and implement scripts using PHP/SQL a strong plus. 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

 

§ A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or a related discipline.

 

§ A minimum of five (5) years managing multiple Web sites.

 

§ A minimum of two (2) years experience in managing Web development projects (including rapid applications development practices) OR a minimum of two (2) years managing corporate communications and public relations relevant to Web services.

 

§ A minimum of two (2) years experience in project management and managing/supervising a development staff.
