Leads and develops team of Software Design Analysts and User Experience Analysts for the purpose of creating intuitive, patient centered, innovative, compliant software solutions.? Coach and mentor team members regarding implementation of Agile Software Development principles and practices.? Develops and coaches implementation of processes to support User Centered Design.? Works closely with Program Managers to coordinate Design and User Experience Analyst release activities.? Provides input to product strategy and roadmap, including assessment/estimates for new features, regulatory requirements, evaluation of 3rd party components.? Communicates status of current activities to staff and management.? Evaluates and enhances internal processes, particularly those related to user centered design.? Coordinates and delivers internal education associated with software enhancements or modifications to key persons in other departments.? Assigns staff to project teams, manages staff participation in the project teams.? May coordinate client focus groups, demonstrations, and education classes.? Manages all employee related activities (i.e., hires, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines).? Provides ongoing development, feedback, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports. ? All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:? Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and make decisions.? Excellent knowledge of Agile Software Development principles.? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.? Strong leadership and people skills including the ability to delegate responsibility effectively.? Solid understanding of User Centered Design principles? Ability to participate in, as well as promote, a team environment.? Ability to work and communicate with clients and other departments in an effective and positive manner.? B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience.? Experience leading the design of software applications for the enterprise or consumer market.? Demonstrated ability to attract talent, coach, and develop staff.?
