Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Manufacturing Systems Support Analyst Manufacturing Systems Support Analyst  IPSCO Tubulars (Kentucky) Inc., Newport, Kentucky, has a career opportunity for a Manufacturing Systems Support Analyst.  Primary responsibilities of the position will be to work as part of the plant management team to ensure the efficient running of the operation.  The candidate must be familiar with all aspects of the IT landscape including wiring, hardware, software and being in a position to support all aspects as required.   Other responsibilities will involve custom software development to enhance plant productivity and decision support as well as responsibilities related to project management, documentation and training. Job Requirements: ·  Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment·  Must be able to work irregular hours.  The plant operates 24/7 and support requirements may fall outside of normal business hours·  Skill in SQL Server 2000·  VB.NET experience·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills·  A Bachelor’s degree in the IT field or equivalent experience Other Desirable Assets: ·  Project Management experience·  Visual Foxpro experience·  Experience with PLC programming·  PLC to PC integration experience·  2+ years of related experience
