Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

A Southern CA corporation specializing in on-site IT customer service and support, including company relocations and IT infrastructure implementations, seeks an ethical, talented, and qualified field technician to join our growing team.

Qualified candidate must be MCSE 2000/2003 certified and have extensive Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 server and desktop experience. Additional qualifications include 3+ years of Symantec/Veritas suites, including Backup Exec, NetBackup and Enterprise Anti-Virus, and recent Sonic Wall/Watchguard firewall experience on current Microsoft platforms. Ideal candidate should be familiar with data switches, circuits, routers, cabling practices, TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, SSL certificates, PC support (including proper user, server and e-mail migrations on Microsoft platforms), patching, a working knowledge of SCSI devices, and possess a basic understanding of telecom circuits and networks. Experience with SQL 2000/2005 and Visual Basic are also desired skills. Web programming, .net experience, and extensive telecom/PBX knowledge are pluses.

This field position will report to a management team which will provide direction as well as to support and manage workload. Candidate must be able to follow instructions, work well with minimal supervision, and be willing and able to travel daily to local sites. Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are also mandatory.

An on-site technical competency exam will be given to qualified candidates. Reliable transportation with valid CA driver’s license and proof of auto insurance will be required, as will a background check and pre-employment drug testing.
