Description:

Selection Criteria: Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced production environment is a must. 4+ years of industry experience in application development using J2EE technology; Strong familiarity with following concepts is desired: • Experience with framework design and full life cycle N-tier software development from conceptual design to implementation • Experience with relational databases • Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA, OOD and OOP) • UML (Class Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Activity Diagram) • Software development methodologies • CMMI process.

Hands on experience in the following technologies is a must: • Experience with Hibernate and Spring frameworks. • Experience with Struts framework. • Experience with Unit testing framework like JUNIT,TestNG. Hands on experience in the following technologies is desired: • JavaScript • MS SQL Server or Oracle • Database programming (Stored Procedures, PL-SQL/T-SQL). • Test Driven Development methodologies

Hands on experience in the following technologies is a plus: • Experience with Oracle Application Server and WebLogic Server Ability to successfully pass a government background investigation including good credit history Job Description: • Design and implement software applications including web applications. • Work with software engineers as well as business and product departments to develop and write application systems and programs. • Testing of each solution in appropriate QA environment, adhering to departmental standards, policies and procedures, to ensure proper performance and efficiency guidelines are met. • Performs all tasks and completes projects based upon an extensive knowledge of the software development life cycle. • Obtains and maintains a working knowledge of operating systems and hardware used by the Development groups, and systemic relationships with outside service providers and designers. • Document programs in accordance with development standards and procedures. Create and/or modify current documentation. Participate in application support as needed.
