.NET ARCHITECT

For one of our clients in Downtown Manhattan, NY; we are looking for a .NET Architect who will work on the Client's various on-line initiatives with respect to automating the licensing application process via the internet. 

 

1. This position requires excellent knowledge of SDLC principles and excellent communications skills.

 

2. This position will be responsible for also mentoring junior staff. 

 

3. The Client has begun to implement a .NET framework for its online licensing processes. 

 

4. This position will work closely to continue to expand that build, and integrate functionality with other database systems.

 

 

MANDATORY SKILLS

1. 5 Years experience developing applications using .NET framework 1.1 & 2.0 (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, and ADO.NET)

 

2. 4 years documented experience as a team lead (or similar) mentoring junior programmers in ASP.NET application development.

 

3. 5 years of demonstrated experience with web application development using .NET, JavaScript, and XML, XSL to create interactive web forms.

 

4. 5 years of software development with experience with MS SQL Server 2000 or 2005

 

5. 2 Years Experience working with web services (SOAP/XML, REST, etc.)

 

6. 3 Years Experience developing and running test scripts with Mercury Test Suite, Load Runner, etc.

 

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

1. 2 Years Experience configuring and maintaining database applications using an iWay adapter platform, or similar adapter products.

 

2. 2 Years Experience with API development, MQ Series, and at least one programming language

 

3. 2 years Experience Developing reports using SQL reporting services

 

4. 2 Years Demonstrated experience with Java Script

 

5. 2 Years Demonstrated experience with HTML

 

6. Demonstrated Knowledge of object oriented design /programming, Design Patterns, concurrency and multithreading and SDLC. 

 

7. Experience with Client/Server including service reliability, scalability, performance and monitoring

 

8. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English
