JOB OUTLINE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: · The Programmer/Analyst (Medical) position will be responsible for providing development, administration and support for all of our medical collection systems including in house developed systems as well as off the shelf products. They will be responsible for overall application ownership and growth.· A diverse knowledge of IT technologies and methodologies. We are looking for candidates who are not only experienced in delivering .NET and ASP applications but are familiar with the differences between them and legacy technologies and platforms· A thorough working knowledge of the medical industry including medical claim coding and billing, insurance and self pay collections, cash posting and charge maintenance.· Previous success on projects involving application migrations, conversions, upgrades, archiving and sunsetting· Excellent interpersonal, team and client communication skills. This position will work closely with our professional services group to define client requirements, other developers and support staff to build solutions, and the clients to address and resolve errors.· Ability to manage or work with off-shore programmers in a matrix and collaborative environment· Strong at knowledge transfer, with a sense of teamwork and transparency ingrained at the DBA level· Excellent oral, written and documentation skills. This position will be responsible for authoring design documents, and directing the creation of build notes and test plans.· Strong focus and vision to keep our applications consistent and on track to providing consistent enterprise functionality and deliverables. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: · BS or better in computer science.· 2+ years as a .Net/ASP developer· 2+ years on an AIX or UNIX platform· 4+ years in IT development/programming · 2+ years in Medical service/insurance industry.· Solid .NET and ASP knowledge· Strong Oracle database skills· Ability to quickly learn new languages and skills· Process and team oriented perspective SKILLS: .NET, ASP, Visual Basic, HTML, Oracle, SQL, PL*SQL, ODBC, Windows 2003, AIX, Shell Scripting.
