.NET Developer, Agile, XP, C#, SQL

Location: Austin, TX 78731 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Reference Code: 1001062819 Technisource is currently seeking  .NET Developer to work in a test-driven manner & Agile Development environment. Candidates must be experienced with object-oriented design and familiar with extreme programming (XP). Position Responsibilities Leadership-oriented individual that will be involved in all areas of developing solutions including user story creation and estimation, automated testing, solution architecture, coding, and deployment. Continuously improve automated processes that support testing, database change management, and deployment. Analyze application problems and quickly produce maintainable solutions. Provide innovate and high quality technical solutions to support our fast-paced, customer-focused business initiatives. Position Requirements Experience completing at least 1 agile project or demonstrate extensive self-study. Familiarity with test-driven development, developer testing processes and principles, pair programming, continuous integration, etc. Must work well with others in small team environment. Solid ability to communicate with the various company business owners, analyze and discuss requirements, effectively propose and decide upon valid solutions, and facilitate the implementation. 2-3 years experience with Microsoft technologies. Prior experience in delivering eCommerce technology solutions a plus. Connected systems – enabling the information flow among business groups (both internal and external) - also a plus. Demonstrate continuous learning by keeping up with new methods of applying technology to solve business problems through reading, blogging (reading/producing), and staying “plugged in” to the development/technology community. 4+ years experience in providing business solutions using OO-based languages (C# ideal) and database systems (SQL Server preferred); as well as 2+ years of web application development using ASP.NET.
