.NET Programmer

Project Description:  Our client is looking to place equipment in several facilities in the states as well as in locations worldwide, including China.  They will use their software application to manage the inventory and locations inside the equipment, and all work requests will from a Maxi-Merlin host system. The base application is written in C# and uses the .NET framework 2.0.  It is a distributed architecture and uses .NET remoting for inter-process communication.

 

They are looking to start with their software application as the base and customize it to fill any gaps identified, including:

· Interface to Maxi-Merlin (sockets, XML data) for picks, puts, cycle counts and label printing

· Support for Oracle backend (10g).  Currently we only support SQL Server.

· Windows single sign-on authorization

· Operator screens by vendor

· Support for Hot Orders

· Labels on forms to match vendor terminology

· 2 step cycle counting

· Configurable user rights

· Configurable light bar

 

Duration: 6 months


Excellent communication skills are a must.  Some travel is required.
