NOC Shift Lead

DCi, a leading IT Network Services provider, is looking for a NOC Shift Lead to work at a major law firm located in White Plains NY.This is a full time permanent position available immediately. This is a Right to Hire position after 3 months with DCi. Only apply if you can work the schedule below.

Network Operations Shift Lead

Location: White Plains, NY office

Shift: Wednesday-Saturday, 7am-7pm, Alternating weeks: Thursday-Saturday 7am-7pm

Job Summary:

Supervises Network Operations Center personnel to ensure that user needs are met. Coordinates end-user communication and escalation as required. Other responsibilities include: Oversees employees' work performance and provides guidance in the resolution of problems. Participates in the interviewing, selection and training process. Schedules projects, day-to-day work and long-range plans, and implements long-term plans. Administers Firm policies and procedures. Recommends and implements changes and improvements in methods and procedures to higher level management. Front line all level 1 and level 2 management and technical escalation and notification for any outages that may impact the Firm. Manages trouble shooting efforts within the NOC on a timely basis. Communicates with end-users to resolve technical issues. Handles escalation to remote office technical staff when necessary. Coordinates department resources and escalates as required to solve major problems during off hour shifts. Acts as a coordinator to drive problems to resolution and communicate to concerned parties. Performs other related duties as assigned.



Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum of five years related experience working in a Network Operations environment. Minimum of one year supervisory experience. Strong working knowledge of network topology and Windows servers. High level knowledge base of IBM Blade Technologies, Citrix, Blackberry, Commvault, Exchange/Outlook Knowledge of system performance monitoring and problem resolution Strong Supervisory skills Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills Ability to defuse a tense situation Ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters Ability to communicate effectively Deals courteously/effectively with others Delegates work effectively Executes instructions and Firm policies with authority Personally handles more complex issues/duties requiring independent exercise of discretion & judgment. Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs.
