NYS-Oracle DBA/Data Modeler Position Description:This position is for an Oracle Data Base Administration (DBA) / Data Model expert. The individual will be involved with leading a data modelling effort along supporting the existing application oracle database platform used by CAIRS.Essential Skills Required:1. Minimum of 8-10 years experience in a Oracle environment. Experience needs to include data modeling, both logical and physical, database administration, database optimization, development of documentation to support database design, and use of data modeling tools. 2. Minimum of 5 years experience with Oracle Database development tools3. 2 years as team lead/project lead4. Proficient English language oral and written communication skills5. ERStudio or Erwin experienceOther Requirements:1. Expected to work on client site in Albany, NY. 2. Expected to prepare for, attend, and participate in weekly status meetings with project team members and project manager. 3. Expected to work in a team environment and under tight timeframes. 4. Must be able to work and 8 hour day starting and ending within the standard business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM. 5. Must be able to work beyond an 8 hour day at the discretion of management. 6. Will be held accountable for meeting project time frames based upon baseline project scheduled. 7. Ability to provide vacation schedule 30 days prior to that vacation. 8. Must be able to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.Hardware/Software Packages: Listed below is a summary of the software packages that will be used for this engagement.
