.Net Developer (C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, AJAX)

Service Brands International, an Ann Arbor, MI based multi-brand franchising company has an immediate opening for a .Net Developer (C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, AJAX) with great organizational and communication skills.  If you're a talented C# .Net Developer who's interested in working with the latest Microsoft .Net technologies this is the job for you.

Description:

· Build ASMX Web Services and WCF applications to interface internal databases with outside vendors.

· Work with various departments to determine need and then develop proposals and solutions.

· Create attractive and responsive internal and external web (ASP.NET) applications.

· Develop internal middleware/APIs (C# .Net, SQL Server) as the need arises.

· Work with outside vendors to provide 3rd party solutions that we cannot develop internally.

· Work with IT staff to provide support to internal and external users where applicable.

· Develop web parts for Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.

Requirements:

· Great organizational and communication skills.

· 3+ years experience developing in a Microsoft environment.

· 2+ years of C# coding experience in Visual Studio 2005/2008 (design and development).

· 2+ years of ASP.NET experience, 2.0+ preferred.

· 2+ years experience with user Interface design and development of database driven web applications or highly interactive web sites using Microsoft technologies.

· 1+ years of ASP.NET/AJAX experience.

· 2+ years of MS SQL Server 2000/2005 experience (T-SQL queries and stored procedures).

· 1+ years experience with Web Services (ASMX or WCF).

· Experience with MS Visual Source Safe.

· A willingness to learn and become a MCPD or obtain other MS Certifications.

· Capable of working independently and as a team.

· Associates or Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field.

Optional/Preferred Skills:

· MCPD or MCTS Certifications.

· Experience with MS SharePoint Server 2.0 or above.

· Experience with Telerik, Crystal Reports 11+, SQL Reporting Services, and Dundas Charting.
