Weather requires on-going support in the area of systems administration using NetIQ tools for LINUX and Windows environment. This support requires understanding of both Linux and Windows system administration in order to support on-going server migration from a Windows to Linux (RedHat) environment. Responsibilities - Manage automated OS patch/upgrade, administration, and health monitoring processes - Develop monitoring and remote management tools for problem identification, escalation, and resolution of deployed Linux hosts Qualifications - Some direct NetIQ experience - 4-5 years working in Unix, RedHat Linux, and MS Windows environments - VB and Perl scripting experience - The ability to manipulate NetIQ processes to automate network administration tasks such as: - Application Management - Security Management - Configuration Control - Enterprise Administration - Computer and Network skills as follows (but not limited to): - Unix/Linux SAN connectivity - Oracle RAC - Linux performance tuning and troubleshooting - Monitoring in a large enterprise environment - Understanding Disaster Preparedness: - Types of disasters - Backup schemes - Data recovery Other Training required: - NetIQ AppManager Developer Training - NetIQ Security Manager Essentials and VoIP Management ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS PREFERRED BUT WILL CONSIDER INTERIM TS OR SECRET CLEARANCE WITH ELIBILITY TO UPGRADE QUICKLY
