Network & Application Modelers/Performance Engineers/Network Tools Administrators/DBA/Web Developer

NTSC, Inc (a small 8(a) business located in Fairfax, VA) is looking for full time experienced and energetic candidates (contractor or salaried) to help our customer transition to an MPLS network and to make the existing NOC support infrastructure top in its class through the use of tools owned. To accomplish these goals, we are looking for candidates with the following skills set:2 Network/Application Modelers:
To ensure a smooth transition to the MPLS network, we need a number of staff members to help baseline and model our customer's network/applications using OPNET ITGuru, VNE, and Panorama. This baseline/model will be used for comparison pre and post cutover as part of Test and Acceptance plan. Desired skills for these positions include network/telecomm and application performance troubleshooting skills using tools owned. 2 Network/Performance Engineers:
To ensure a smooth transition to the MPLS network, we need a number of staff members with networking experience to assist in troubleshoot network and application performance problem. From Layer 1 of the OSI model to Layer 4. These positions may require you to be on call 24x7 on a rotating basis. 3 Network Tools Administrators:
To enhance services our NOC provides to our users, we need 6 staff members to help configure, deploy and maintain CiscoWorks, Concord/nGenius, OPNET SLA Commander (NetDoctor Rules), StatSeeker, ArcSight, and Alarm Point. We are looking to maximize the tools’ features and capabilities to support the NOC and our users. 1 DBA/Web Developer/Programmer:
To enhance our services, we also need an Oracle DBA with web development skills. Knowledge of Cold Fusion is a must.
1  Technical Writer:
To enhance our services, we also need a technical writer with basic knowledge of networking concepts.

 

Candidates Must:Have a Current U.S. Government (High Risk) Background Investigation or current DOD Top Secret or current DOD clearance with SSBI. Be willing to tackle tasks assigned even though tasks may not be in their area of expertise. Have US Citizenship
