ER Solutions is looking for a talented, results-driven Network Engineer that can thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with local and remote environments for diverse client industries (banking, retail, telecommunications and utility).  The candidate will support a broad range of critical IT Systems, such as enterprise converged networks, IT Security, VoIP and telecommunication backbone networks.

 

The candidate will be a team member, responsible for technical support operations in a high-volume 24x7 environment.  This person will help design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze and maintain a dispersed network.

 

Responsibilities:

 

§ Oversee network connectivity, implementation, administration and troubleshooting for switches, routers, remote access for five national locations

§ Architect and manage internal, 2000+ node network infrastructure

§ Manage WAN / LAN and all client access points including IPSec tunneling VPN appliances via ISP with worldwide points-of-presence

§ Design and administer internal telecommunications and voicemail system via OC3, DS3, and T-1 connection for approximate 100 long-distance circuits serving 5 centers nationally

§ Have earned a reputation for on-time, on-budget completion of high-profile projects involving networking systems, connectivity consultation, and problem resolution

§ Follow Information Security Policy to ensure all client, customer and debtor information remain strictly confidential

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

 

§ Bachelor's degree, from an accredited college or university, with major coursework in information systems, computer science with an emphasis on networking engineering

§ Five (5) years experience in large scale network infrastructure administration, analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance

§ Five (5) years experience with Cisco Pix/ASA firewall set-up and maintenance

§ Current CCNA or CCNP strongly preferred

§  Excellent understanding of firewall configurations, DMZs configurations and VLAN

§ Experience troubleshooting and configuring Cisco IOS (specifically network optimization utilizing QoS, FWQ, or dynamic routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, RIPv2)

§  ITIL or COBIT implementation experience considered a plus

§  Excellent written and verbal skills required
