Network Engineer
This position is located in San Mateo, CA.
CafePress.com is expanding its Network Operations team and is looking for a Network Engineer. Be a part of a small, integral team responsible for maintaining and upgrading the live environment network systems! This is a regular, full time position (no contract or corp-to-corp considered at this time).

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks Maintain and support company’s LAN/WAN environment Windows and Linux system administration Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration Web site and application monitoring Backup, recovery, and disaster planning Equipment installation and cabling

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Hands-on experience implementing and administrating network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security within a Linux and Windows Server environment. Experience working with Cisco network equipment, including core routers, VPN, and Firewalls Citrix NetScalers experience a plus HP & Dell server platforms exposure/experience A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking Experience configuring and maintaining routing protocols, includes HSRP and BGP. Experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services including: DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc. Must be willing to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation Ability to cope in a fluid and rapidly changing environment Must have demonstrated strong attention to detail and quality Good understanding of Infrastructure Monitoring Systems - Groundwork, Nagios, etc. Able to work across departments to resolve issues and implement enhancements Working knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilities 5+ years of combined Unix/Linux systems and network administration Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Current CCNA or CCNP preferred CafePress.com is an equal opportunity employer, offering competitive compensation and benefits.
