Network Field Engineer - MA

EveryNetwork is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for our Waltham, MA operation. EveryNetwork is a leading technical consulting company, providing IT solutions to small and midsize businesses.

 

At EveryNetwork, the Network Engineer will work independently and in team environments to provide IT solutions for customers’ business critical networks. Responsibilities include the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of client networks, managing projects, and providing direction to junior members of our staff.

 

Preferred Technical Skills:

LAN design / implementation / support skills. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating environments, including: Windows 2003, Windows XP, and Exchange 2003, Active Directory, along with Mac OS exp.  Understanding of telecommunications and network components including: switches, routers, firewalls, and other security devices. Handheld technology use is key (Blackberry, GoodLink, Palm, etc...)

 

Additional Requirements:

To be considered for a position applicants must have 3-5 years of Sys Admin and end user support experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to set and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
