Network Operations Analyst/Monitoring engineer - 3rd shift

Panurgy designs, installs and supports robust local and wide-area data and voice network infrastructure and backoffice solutions, network security, remote access and network management solutions. Panurgy remotely monitors and administers our clients’ critical network infrastructure, servers, IP telephony systems and security. We provide robust technical support help desk services, as well as onsite installation, support and repair services.

This 3rd shift - Monday through Friday midnight to 8:30AM (Sunday night through Thursday night) - position involves responding to network monitoring alarms with remote remedial action and/or escalation to Level 3 engineers, for monitored and managed networks including Windows Server, Exchange Server, Terminal Server, Citrix, Cisco and Sonicwall firewalls, desktop support, etc. to our growing client base of over 3,000 end users and over 300 servers at approximately 100 contract clients. In addition to responding to the occasional monitoring-based alarm, or call from a remote traveling users with VPN, Blackberry, and similar issues, the position involves preventative maintenance tasks of checking on the status of our clients' tape backup jobs, and taking remedial action as necessary for failed backups.

Growth opportunity from this Level 1 Night Shift (Sunday night through Thursday night, midnight to 8AM) includes Level 1 and Level 2 Day shift Network Operations Help Desk Analyst/Administrator, Help Desk supervisor, Field Network Hardware technician, Field Network Engineer/Project Manager, Sales, and more.

The position is a full-time salaried position, with full benefits package. Many training opportunities are avialable.

Qualifications include:

Certificartions a plus but not required for this position. Should have experience supporting Windows PCs and servers in a networked environment, including basic Active Directory support, as well as experience administering tape backup systems such as BackupExec.
