Job Category:Network Sr Manager Primary Location:USA-MD: MARYLAND-HANOVERSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:CasualJob Posting: 03/24/2008Description: Essential Job Functions Reviews, analyzes and approves all network service plans; oversees the implementation and installation to ensure customer business needs are met. Ensures compliance standards are met for testing, turn-up, and maintenance of backbone voice and/or data networks. Oversees project teams of engineers and technicians to ensure the reliability and availability of voice and/or data networks. Oversees the development of the network architecture, planning, implementation, creation of operational procedures, security audits, performance monitoring, and reporting to ensure optimal business networking solutions. Defines and develops methodology to ensure compatibility of all software and hardware products at customer facilities. Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines. Prepares, recommends and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis. Basic Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field preferred Twelve or more years of networking experience Nine or more years of supervisory or management experience included Experience working with voice/data communications equipment and transmission Experience working with network planning policies, procedures, and standards Experience working with networking software and hardware infrastructures Other Qualifications Strong computer operations skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication skills Strong human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees Ability to work in a team environment Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:TS/SCI w/ FS Polygraph Create Success
