Network Support- CCNA and CCTV

· Network support:

o  Responsible for providing technical and customer support for installed networking systems.

o  Will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, debug and install complex networking systems

· Configure, test and train:

o  Configure, install and reconfigure systems

o  Implement and track the configuration of hardware and software upgrades

o  Follow standard procedures to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.

o  Work on complex problems where analysis of data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors.

o  Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

o  Perform training on various systems to customers

· Cisco CCNA

o  Configuration and Implementation of Cisco LAN/WAN products

· Cisco Physical

o  Experience in the installation, servicing and troubleshooting of systems related to Fire, Security, Cameras and Access Control.

· CCTV

o  Installation & troubleshooting.

· Security Systems access control – a plus

· Cisco Integrated Services Routers – familiar with

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components

· Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues

· Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of surveillance equipment, field devices, wire, cameras, alarms and doors among others

· Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software

· Working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques and testing

· Expanded knowledge of design, layout, installation and programming of Security, Access Control, CCTV, or Fire Alarm Systems

·  Job responsibilities will include planning, installing, programming and testing of new systems, and modification of existing systems

· Ability to complete installation projects on time and within budget

· Must possess good customer skills, the ability to work under pressure and have a strong work ethic.

· Must be proficient in reporting activities, maintaining local spare parts inventory, recording travel expenses and time card, maintain customer log books, and use sound judgment when dealing with customers
