Network Technician

 

Affiliated Technology Solutions is a Computer Networking firm and we are seeking an outgoing individual to join our team of consulting professionals.

 

The ideal candidate should have a broad range of experience including an advanced knowledge of networking, the ability to logically troubleshoot hardware and software problems, excellent communications skills, and the ability to think outside of the box to come up with innovative solutions to our customers’ needs.

 

In addition, the candidate must possess the ability to provide long-term strategies for the security, redundancy, and robustness of our customers’ networking environments. Requirements A minimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, and 1 year of experience with Microsoft’s server operating systems Experience as a networking consultant or systems administrator Experience with a wide variety of hardware and software Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols, routing, and switching Strong background in networking design & implementation Excellent written and oral communications skills Strong problem resolution & organizational skills Ability to work independently with a positive attitude and minimal supervision Must be self-motivated and focused, with an aptitude to learn new technologies quickly Ability to adapt to new situations Reliable transportation & clean driving record
