New Business-Marketing Science-Integration Engineer

Description Organization: New Businesses/Accenture Marketing Science Location: New York, New York Scope of Position  The Accenture Marketing Sciences (AMS) practice specializes in the measurement and optimization of a company’s return on Marketing and Sales investments. The AMS process involves the use of advanced regression analysis and other statistical techniques to quantify the return on historic Marketing activities, and utilizes optimization techniques to maximize the return on future investments. AMS clients include leading FMCG, automotive and retailing companies worldwide, with good penetration in the consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, and banking sectors.  You will be part of the team responsible for the integration of Memetrics' xOs platform with our customers' content management systems.  xOs deployments may utilize a wide range of web technologies, including JavaScript, JSP, .NET, PHP and XML-RPC.  The multi-tier xOs platform can deployed behind the customer firewall or can operate in a hosted on-demand environment depending on requirements.  Key responsibilities may include: •Architecting robust and scalable deployment scenarios depending on  customer technology preferences or constraints•Interacting with customer technical teams to guide implementation•Interacting with the internal Engineering team to resolve integration issues  and identify technical feature gaps•Developing new tools and methodologies to track customer deployments,  automate internal processes and improve quality•Participating in external product demonstrations and technical presentations•Contributing to and reviewing technical documentation JOB REQUIREMENTS This is a customer-facing role and requires excellent communication skills along with a willingness to travel from time-to-time (25%). Qualifications Basic Qualifications: •Minimum of BS/MS in Computer Science or related field•Minimum of 3 years experience of software design and engineering in a web-basedenvironment•Minimum of 2 years/Strong background in both Linux and Windows•Minimum of 2 years/Extensive experience with HTML, XML and other web technologies including JavaScript, Ajax, J2EE, .NET and PHP•Minimum of 1 year experience with writing technical documentation for end users Professional Skill Requirements: •Proficiency with a variety of scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.)•RDBMS experience, including querying and administration.  Specific experience with PostgreSQL is strongly preferred.•Understanding of web analytics •Linux administration skills To submit resumes online Click Here  Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
