Provides the following functions as part of a proposal team: Gathers and evaluates customer Midrange, Mainframe, Storage and Data Center service requirements provided to CSC through a Request for Proposal (RFP) or other documentation Architects a technical solution meeting the customer's requirements for inclusion in CSC's bid/proposal Assists in identifying transformation requirements and costs to demonstrate CSC's ability to migrate from the current to the proposed environment Leads the development of cost models/estimates for providing the solution; including hardware, software, technical and operational support, and transformation Documents the proposed solution as required for inclusion in CSC's commercial proposal Presents the proposed solution for internal approval and external acceptance Acts as a technical consultant during contract negotiations Coordinates routine aspects of solution development and architecture, and management processes. Interfaces with business developers, account managers, competency managers, and executive management on routine aspects of solution development to increase company and productivity profits. Facilitates reduced risks to client and company; participates in solution business plan creation, prepares financial models to ensure that client interests are met and potential business opportunities are established. Assists and supports client activities to eliminate gaps or inconsistencies in the initial solution, architectural design, deliverables, benefits and messaging.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred Nine or more years of business solutions experience Minimum of 5 years experience in midrange, mainframe or storage management, architecture or engineering Experience working with company products and services, business processes and re-engineering Experience working with business environment, business industry and competitor products and services Experience working with office productivity tools; delivery assurance and/or industry standards on deliverables Other Qualifications Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and consultative skills to work effectively with clients, peers, and CSC management Good creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time management, and organization skills to balance and prioritize work Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks Ability to lead and work in a team environment Ability to handle multiple Remote Work Location Authorized:Yes Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
