Operational Analyst

Company Overview:

Growing entrepreneurial oil and gas technology and production Company in the Houston, TX area seeks Operational Analyst.  Ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, organized, professional, self-starter and a willingness to adapt to a growing work environment.

 

Job Summary:

Candidate will be responsible for organizing, tracking, processing and analyzing data related to the Company’s research and development activities and broad based business operations.  Coordination with field consultants, engineering staff, management and others to complete tasks on a timely basis.  Ad-hoc administrative tasks including management of basic office computer systems and maintenance, back-up of company data and communications, and other admin tasks as needed.  This position reports directly to the CEO of the Company.  Position will be on a part-time basis and may expand to full-time.  Growth and role expansion opportunities. 

 

Job Qualifications:

§         Mapping and information modeling skills a must

§         Working towards or have BS/BA degree

§         Science/ Environmental/Geology studies a plus

§         No prior experience required but technical background preferred

§         Strong analytical skills and IT analytic software aptitude

§         Strong MS Excel skills

§         Knowledge of other MS Office applications

§         Good verbal and communication skills

§         Digital mapping familiarity a plus

§         Bilingual in Spanish a plus
