If you want to work in a leading technology company and make a difference in the quality of life for countless long term care residents, VCPI is the company for you. POSITION SUMMARY:Monitors enterprise-wide systems, processes, LAN/WAN connectivity, and applications, providing first response to system issues.  Performs triage and escalation for serious problems.  Responsible for outage management, for both scheduled and unscheduled outages, including coordinating communication with the Service Desk, Applications Development, Engineering teams and Account Managers.  Demonstrates a working knowledge of Active Directory.  Responsible for the accurate and timely creation of user account, account modification and account disables across multiple platforms and domains in Active Directory.  Automates processes by creating scripts and automation tools. The hours for this position will be 3rd shift 7pm - 4am Monday - Friday. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   1.  Work closely with all systems users to identify and resolve problems as they arise.2.  Work closely with staff by supporting their system requirements.3.  Advise the Manager, Systems Performance and Availability of potential problems that may exist within the business operations.4.  Provide support to systems as required by daily and monthly production schedules.5.  Work with Lead Operations Analyst to document Standard Operating Procedures for business recovery for all systems.6.  Document customer profiles.7.  Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports.8.  Maintains team shares and Sharepoint at the direction of the Lead Operations Analyst9.  Research tools and applications and provides Business Analysis for management approval of same.10.  Participate in project team to on-board new clients.11.  Advise Manager, Systems Performance and Availability of problems, accomplishments, and other projects in an ongoing fashion.12.  Understand and be able to perform backup/restore operations on all computer systems.  Work with Manager, Systems Performance and Availability to maintain daily back-up schedules and adequate off-site storage.13.  Provide initial problem analysis.  Consult with appropriate technical staff as required regarding restarting of halted processes and restoration of data files.14.  Provide weekly status reports to Manager, Systems Performance and Availability regarding past and future accomplishments.  EDUCATION:  Bachelors degree. Education may be substituted by experience and related certifications.  May substitute MCSE, MCSA, or A+ and N+ EXPERIENCE: Four years in related position.   Company: VCPI Location: 111 W.
