Operations Executive - Windows Application Infrastructure

Our client is an extremely well respected Fortune 250 professional services firm that manages complex application environments for large enterprises.  On their behalf we are currently searching for a tech-savvy, client-facing operations executive to manage the ongoing service relationship with a large customer in Northern Virginia.  This role provides critical leadership in managing the overall client relationship and interacting with hands-on technology teams that manage the end-customer's application infrastructure. The core business of our client is NOT application development; instead they work closely with their customers in developing detailed SLA's to manage custom-built multi-tiered application environments.  Candidates should be adept at managing relationships where mission critical applications are involved.  In addition, they should be very comfortable working in high pressure production environments and have experience resolving high profile business and technology issues with professionalism and customer-focused tact and responsiveness.    Technology background requirements: --understanding of multi-tier, high volume Windows application infrastructures--knowledge of enterprise hosting and production support--experience with large application deployments (i.e. hundreds of servers, SAN, load balancers, firewalls, etc.)--project management best practices to organize and manage enterprise-scale IT initiatives If you are an experienced operations professional with the ability to interact effectively with a large client this position will provide a unique opportunity; you will join an extremely successful and growing organization and work closely with a high profile client utilizing the latest application and infrastructure technologies.
