Operations Executive--eCommerce

Our client is an extremely well respected Fortune 500 professional services firm that manages complex application environments for large commercial enterprises. On their behalf we are currently searching for a tech-savvy, client-facing operations executive to manage the ongoing service relationship with a large customer in Philadelphia. This role provides critical leadership in managing the overall client relationship and interacting with hands-on technology teams that manage the end-customer's application infrastructure.The core business of our client is NOT application development; instead they work closely with their customers in developing detailed SLA's to manage custom-built multi-tiered ecommerce applications that drive large volumes of traffic and corresponding sales revenue. As a result, candidates should be adept at managing relationships where mission critical ecommerce services are being provided. In addition, they should be very comfortable working in high pressure production environments and have experience resolving high profile business and technology issues with professionalism and customer-focused tact and responsiveness. Technology background requirements:--thorough understanding of multi-tier, high volume ecommerce application environments --solid knowledge of Unix-based systems --experience with leading application servers, web servers and databases (Weblogic, Websphere, Apache, iPlanet, SunOne, Oracle, DB2, etc.) --managed hosting and professional services knowledgeIf you are an experienced operations professional with the ability to manage a large and dynamic client relationship this position will provide a unique opportunity; you will join an extremely successful and growing organization and work closely with an internationally revered client utilizing the latest ecommerce technologies.
