Familiarity with ITIL fundamentals, configuration management, systems development life cycle, and customer excellence preferred. Essential Job Functions Technical management position for a highly visible web-based government system. Applicant must have demonstrated experience managing a 24/7 systems operation environment including a technical support staff and helpdesk personnel. OM manager is responsible for the oversight and management of software and hardware deployment scheduling and approval, and system change control. Creates and implements complex project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for a large sized or multiple projects of high complexity. Determines need for and impact of changes in scope of project and makes and implements recommendations based on determinations. Gains concurrence, approval, and consensus from stakeholders regarding the various project aspects, adjusts accordingly. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. Performs enterprise wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems.Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering or related field preferred. Seven or more years of project planning/management experience. Experience working with project management methodology such as Catalyst includingbudget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices. Experience working with productivity and methodology tools that increase project efficiency and effectiveness.Other Qualifications Strong leadership and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients.
