We are a small high tech company that designs, installs and maintains AV, Computer, Lighting, Security, Telephone and Automation systems in high-end residences. We pride ourselves on impeccable service to our clients and attention to detail.

 

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our Manhattan office and help us to maintain our outstanding service.

 

The Operations Manager is a proactive thinker whose skills contribute to the efficient, systematic and profitable operation of the company. This role ensures that the New York office runs as smoothly as possible on a daily basis.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Oversee all aspects of Human Resources and Benefits

•Proactively schedule labor for projects on a daily basis.

•Create and manage daily work orders for all projects.

•Confirm daily appointments and work orders with clients.

•Ensure up-to-date reporting is available for all projects.

•Manage order processes and inventory.

•Ensure all necessary supplies and inventory are on hand for each day’s activities.

•Develop and manage the office operations budget

•Initiate cost reduction programs were applicable.

•Plan, develop, and coordinate the execution of operations procedures and policy.

•Manage vendor accounts to ensure competitive pricing.

•Serve as the company’s liaison to building management staff, office equipment and furniture vendors, and other office services as needed.

•Set up and maintain files of documents and records, both digital and in print, ensuring accurate and logical organization of files and appropriatelycontrolling the confidentiality of those files.

•Maintain and review processes and guidelines for new employees. Support new hires with seating, phone/computer set-up, distribution of keys and orientation to administrative processes and procedures.

•Address issues related to office space, telephone, and equipment maintenance needs and repairs.

•Support receptionist with phones as needed.

•Receive visitors promptly and courteously.

•Manage on-site storage.

•Supervise and participate in the general and specific cleaning, organizing andmoving of the offices.

•Participate in the overall design and layout of the physical workspace.

• Organize company wide projects, such as company mailings, meetings and outings.
