Job Title: Oracle DBA skilled in Oracle 10g

 

Summary of Position:  NetEffects is seeking an experience Oracle DBA skilled in Oracle 10g for one of our highly regarded worldwide clients.

 

Required Skills:

· At least six (6) years experience with Oracle RAC, Oracle streams, Oracle clusterware, 10G OEM, and Extreem. Expert Oracle DBA skills to create and migrate data to new database for the transition of support to functional owners.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required as

 

Responsibilities:Provide subject matter expertise to staff and other internal business/technical areas.Face to face interactions with multiple teams including external vendors and creating/documenting of new standards, process and policies. Responsible for tracking deliverables against project plans and ensuring that commitments are met. Participation in the development of Database product strategies and rollout plans, participation in cross-functional teams that address implementation issues. Responsible for identification of product and service improvement opportunities and partner with development and other teams including external vendors to ensure successful implementation of new product/services.
