ABOUT THE POSITION

 

The Oracle Database Administrator (mid to senior level) is responsible for assisting with database management systems software and determine ways to organize and store data; identify user requirements, set up computer databases and test and coordinate modifications to the database systems; ensure the performance of the system; plan and coordinate security measures-data integrity, backup systems, and database security; manage the development of database projects; and plan and budget staff and database resources.  This position supports a major Intelligence Community customer in the Herndon/Reston, VA area.

 

 

REQUIREMENT - Strong candidate will have the following skills: 

 

· Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with a full scope polygraph examination.

· Bachelors degree or equivalent, strong work experience

· 3+ years experience as a Oracle Database Administrator

· Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration

· Excellent problem-solving skills, especially the ability to reason through technical problems and ability to provide alternative solutions

· Strong communication, written and client facing skills
