Job Title: Oracle Financials Developer

 

Summary of Position:

 NetEffects is seeking an Oracle Financials Developer that has excellent communication and documentation skills for one of our highly regarded fortune 500 clients.

 

Required Skills:3+ years experience with Oracle Workflow, XML, Java/JBuilder experience. Experience with PL/SQL, Reports, and TOAD. Experience with Interfaces, Developing new reports, problem solving, and analytical skills.Modules required are GL, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, I Supplier, I Expense, fixed assets & Cash Management.Must be an expert working with design documents.Java in background is an advantageApplies extended expertise of principles theories and concepts plus in depth knowledge of business/function and development life cycle, usually acquired through a minimum of six years of experience. Must have excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:Responsible for the technical planning, design, programming, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of systems application software. Accountable for software quality and service level agreements. Perform systems analysis and design of projects that meet the business needs. Consult with Business Owners on new projects. Ensure knowledge transfer of vendor technology to staff. Maintain liaison with internal staff and vendors who have systems design problems or requirements.Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.Prepare technical project plan, incorporating development costs and tasks of the various technical components. Support Disaster Recovery testing.Evaluate requests to determine technical feasibility, develop technical alternatives and recommend optimal technical solutions.
